I've been contemplating doing a cosplay for a long while now - something that I'd actually put some effort in rather than winging low budget and incredibly cheap store-bought outfits last minute.

So I figured I needed to compile a list somewhere for various characters I'd like to cosplay, in hopes that it would help me narrow down what I'm looking for, and inspire me to go through with it.

I'd be doing the costume for Sakura Con 2010, as it's probably the ONLY anime convention I'll ever get to (I used to go once a year back in my jr/high school days). Who knows. If I actually get a job once I'm out of college, I could branch out and hit some conventions up in Canada and down as far as Oregon! Y'never know.

I thought I'd start by listing all the characters that I LOVE. Then I'll go from there, narrowing it down and editing as I go along. As it is, I'm gonna have to run off very soon for my afternoon class at Evergreen, so this is most definitely a WIP.

Shuichi/Ryuichi - Gravitation
Momiji - Fruits Basket
Natsume - Gakuen Alice


Shuichi is definitely me embodied heart and soul. I would LOVE to dress up as him in both casual and his performance outfits. Ryuichi too, whenever he's being a complete spaz.

Momiji is just freaking adorable. I want to squish him and his adorableness. Not sure tho about his costume. I definitely relate more to boys but he likes to dress in the girls uniform at his high school soooo...

Natsume is more of a stretch 'coz I love him to pieces but his personality is the complete opposite of mine. If I can learn to keep a straight face and NOT break into a smile, I may be able to pull him off.
